Culinary Arts cooks up special dinner

NTCC students from last spring’s dinner treated guest to a culinary treat. This year’s event will be held on Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. This year’s dinner is a ticketed event. Tickets must be purchased at the Hanson-Sewell Center at 237 College Street in Pittsburg.

The Northeast Texas Community College Community College Culinary Arts Program will host a special Thursday Night Dinner on Nov. 15.

The dinner will be held at the NTCC Culinary School in historic downtown Pittsburg and is open to the public. Tickets are on sale now. The menu includes smothered pork chops in mushroom gravy, smashed red potatoes, bourbon glazed carrots, fall autumn salad, yeast rolls and pecan pie cheesecake.

This is a ticketed event rather than a first-come-first-served. Tickets can be obtained only at the NTCC Hanson-Sewell Center at 237 College Street in Pittsburg, cash and checks are accepted for payment.

The cost is $12 per person and each diner must have a ticket to be admitted to the event. Seating will be from 6:00-6:30 p.m. Please call 903-434-8394 for more details.
