Eagles baseball get into the spirit of Halloween

The Northeast Texas Community College Eagles baseball team celebrated the spooky holiday by dressing up and holding a scrimmage for the community.

The scrimmage was to help fund money for the Stewart’s Foundation. Head Baseball Coach and Athletic Director Josh Stewart created the Foundation after one of his former student’s passed away.

The Foundation helps underprivileged kids play little league baseball. Free admission was offered at the game as well as free candy for the kids of the community. Children were also encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes for the event and participate in activities in between the innings.
